Dame Dash says Aaliyah called R. Kelly a 'bad man' (video)

Lifetime recently aired "Surviving R. Kelly," a six-part docu-series which aired over three nights that told the stories of survivors and people from Kelly's inner circle who came forward with new allegations about his sexual, mental and physical abuse. The documentary also discusses Kelly's alleged predatory behavior and pedophilia.

Among the many of viewers who recently watched the disturbing documentary was Aaliyah's ex-boyfriend/music producer, Damon Dash. The docu-series explored Kelly's relationship with Aaliyah who was 12 years old when she first met Kelly. 

Well, Dame says he never supported Kelly. 

According to Dame, Aaliyah didn’t speak much about her relationship with Kelly, she was distraught and reportedly said R. Kelly was a “bad man.” 

“I watched some of it yesterday, and as a human I was tight. There was a girl and when she was trying to talk about it, she couldn’t,” the music business mogul shared. “And I remember Aaliyah trying to talk about it and she couldn’t. She would just leave it at that dude was a bad man. I’ve been tight about this sh*t for years.”
