Keri Hilson says she hit rock bottom: 'I had to give up music for a while'

Keri Hilson recently admitted to hitting rock bottom in an emotional confession to celebrity psychic medium Reginald Lewis as part of an appearance on the Steve Harvey Show.

The psychic revealed that he was speaking with Keri’s deceased paternal grandmother and he shocked the singer as he accurately revealed the cause of her grandmother’s death. He also shared several key messages with Keri and revealed there will be new romantic and career opportunities presenting themselves for the singer within the new year. 

Keri, who hasn't released a new album in seven years, said: 

“It’s kind of a comeback because I hit rock bottom a few times… I’m crawling back to walking in my purpose and using my gifts… I had to give up music for a while.”

Not too long ago, Keri tweeted a message about the New Year and said 2017 was "a really cruel joke."
