8 top moments from the 2017 Soul Train Awards: Toni Braxton's tribute, Erykah Badu takes a knee, and more!

Once again, The Soul Train Awards showed up and showed out! #ForTheCulture

The awards show aired Sunday evening (Nov. 26) and featured an array of talented R&B and Soul singers, some overdue recognition's, an amazing Soul Cypher, and much more!

Check out these eight top moments from last night's Soul Train Awards below:

This amazing Toni Braxton tribute

Jessie J, Luke James and Ro James absolutely KILLED their Toni Braxton tributes, especially Luke who was blessing us with those high notes while singing "Unbreak My Heart." I definitely had this performance on repeat!

Toni Braxton's performance

Toni Braxton reminded us that she has hits for days, hunny! She received the Legend Award this year and it was well deserved. And, the 50-year-old singer shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon as she sang, shimmy'd and dropped it low during her performance. She looked great!

112's medley of hits

112 is back and better than ever! They rocked the crowd as they performed their old classics and new hits.

The Soul Cypher

Fantasia, Faith Evans, Bilal and Mali Music blessed us all with a soul cypher!

Tamar Braxton has vocals for days

Tamar Braxton absolutely slayed the stage as she sang her hit song "Blind."

Tank takes it off!

Tank kept it all the way grown and sexy as he took off his shirt and gave us a steamy performance that is worth more than a couple of rewinds.

Erykah Badu takes a knee

Erykah Badu returned as the host for this year's Soul Train Awards and she kicked off the night with taking a knee in honor of Colin Kaepernick.

"Kaep we appreciate you giving your life," she said, as she kneeled. "Giving up your dream because you believe in us."

SWV finally wins an award!

SWV has been nominated more than 25 times since 1993 and the group finally won their first award ever last night, the Soul Train Lady of Soul Award!

Coko started off her acceptance speech saying, "In the past, we were nominated and we lost every single time. God's delay is never denial. God's timing is never our own..."

The ladies kicked off the show with a medley of their classic hits. They also brought out Method Man and U-God during their nostalgic performance.
