August Alsina Asks Fans To Send Prayers: "I've been living my life in so much dis-ease"

August Alsina is asking fans for prayers as he's going through a difficult time in his life. He posted a message on his Instagram page:

"I've been living my life in so much dis-ease that I've literally created it within myself... God has invested something inside of me, But I am not afraid of this Agony because I know that God pulls us back to shoot us FORWARD. & To my lovely and loyal fans.. Please take care of yourself and your bodies & your SOULS. A beautiful face will fade, a beautiful body will too fade, but a beautiful soul is that FOREVER. I have so much to share, until I do.. Please say a prayer."

The 24-year-old singer has previously opened up about his troubled past, health issues, crazy family drama, suicidal thoughts and dealing with depression.

In 2015, August sat down with The Breakfast Club where he discussed some private details of his life, including suicide:

“I have thoughts about that sh*t. I just remember being super, overly depressed. Not knowing how to deal with the sh*t. Not having a mother to talk to, my father is dead. I don’t have anyone out here to teach me sh*t. I’m doing all this on my own. I went through so many surgeries, my mama didn’t even check on a n*gga. I’m damn near dead and losing my vision and you don’t check on your kid? It teached me when I have a child is when I’ll have a family. That’s why I put “Song Cry” out. This is my truth. People can take that as depressing or looking for attention, but I’m just giving you my reality. Everybody else is out here living this fantasy world."

Prayers are definitely up for August Alsina. I hope he can find the help, support and love he deserves!
