Drake Says Beefing With Meek Mill Took An 'Emotional Toll' On Him & They Could Never Be Friends (Listen To Full Interview!)

Looks like we're still talking about this Drake/Meek Mill beef in 2017 *rolls eyes* ...

Its been over a year and Drake is FINALLY addressing all the Meek Mill drama, the diss records, the ghostwriting accusations, ALL THAT on his OVO Sound radio program which aired in a recent interview with DJ Semtex. 

"It was what it was, and it’s not something that I’m proud of because it took just as much of an emotional toll on me — I mean, not as much as it did on him, but it took an emotional toll on me. It was just a lot. You always gotta hear about it, even just seeing people get so riled up off negativity. It didn’t feel great. It just was what had to happen at the time."

“You know how good I am at writing music. But you really tried to spin the entire narrative of my career and end my life,” Drake said of about Meek's ghostwriting accusations. “

"And take food from my family and really try to like end it all. You didn’t even do it through music. You just talked or tweeted. That was like sickening to me. I had to really get revenge.”


Drake has no desire of EVER being cool with Meek: 

“That’s just not somebody who I ever want to be friends with... I don’t have that level of respect for him because of his actions. I’m not looking to be friends or cordial.”

Drake also talked about The Grammy's, Kanye West, and the comparisons of his beef with Meek Mill to Nas and Jay-Z.
