Sevyn Streeter's National Anthem Performance Denied By Sixers For Supporting 'Black Lives Matter' Movement
Sevyn Streeter was scheduled to sing the National Anthem at the 76ers' season opener tonight against the OKC Thunder, but she got shut down!
According to the singer, her performance was stopped by the 76ers organization because of her "We Matter" jersey which supports the Black Lives Matter movement.
"I'm at the 76ers game to sing the national anthem and the organization is telling me that I can't because I'm wearing a 'We Matter' jersey," Sevyn said.
