Aside from the corny hosts, this year's MTV Video Music Awards was a success ... it was all about Rihanna and Beyonce, yay!
[Side Note: If you're not a fan of Bey or RiRi then this year's awards show was not for you, lol. Too bad.]
Bey topped the winners list with a total of seven awards, surpassing Madonna for the most VMA wins, ever. She recreated her Lemonade HBO special and brought it onstage as she performed, "Hold Up," "Sorry," "Don't Hurt Yourself," and more.
Bey slayed her performance so much that I felt sorry for whichever artist had to perform after her, lol. That's a hard act to follow!
Peep the full winner's list here!
Rihanna performed a topping FOUR times as she received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award!
