Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker has died after a dirt bike crash Thursday night left him with head injuries, according to his agent who confirmed the news with reporters.
The 23-year-old NFL player was a fourth-round pick of the team from Texas Southern in the 2015 NFL.
According to the police report, Walker was riding a Honda dirt bike with no lights and wearing dark clothing when he hit a Ford Escape heading the opposite direction at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday. The driver of the Ford Escape stayed on the scene and helped police.
After the crash in Florida, Walker was immediately taken to the Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was in the trauma center in critical condition.
