Bobbi Kristina's autopsy report has been unsealed and her cause of death was revealed earlier today (March 4) on what would've been her 23rd birthday.
Authorities in Georgia have always maintained they know how she died, according to multiple reports. But they never provided details because of a superior court's order to seal the autopsy information, until today...
Bobbi's face was immersed in water and she was intoxicated with a mix of marijuana, alcohol, morphine and other drugs - both conditions that caused pneumonia that led to her death, a medical examiner said in a statement released Friday morning. The report also revealed Bobbi was covered in bruises and scars when she died.
Bobbi was found unconscious in a bathtub last year and never regained consciousness. She died at a hospice in July.
Her father Bobby Brown responded to the news and released a statement:
"First and foremost, 23 years ago today, Bobbi Kristina was born. Krissy will always live in my heart and soul. I love my baby girl."
"For news affiliates to seek and obtain my daughter's autopsy report before anyone has been brought to justice for her death is mind-blowing to me. Please pray for my family."
