A Double Dose of Brandy!
Moesha is back! .... Well, not so much the '90s sitcom itself but I feel like Brandy Norwood's Moesha character grew up and evolved into Zoe Moon on the new romantic comedy Zoe Ever After.
Brandy's new show premiered last night on BET and I liked it!
The show centers around Zoe (Brandy), a single mother who is newly divorced and now single. Zoe embarks on her new life and career as a successful cosmetic mogul. In the first episode, we see Zoe dating but there's just one small problem... her ex-husband who cheated on her is still in the picture and is not ready to let her go! Plus, they have a 10-year-old son and have to manage co-parenting.
I see a little bit of The Game character Chardonnay in Zoe, her sassy and "yassss" type attitude translates into the new show.
One of my favorite characters on Zoe Ever After is actually not so much Zoe herself but her assistant Valente (played by Tory Devon Smith). He is hilarious in the premiere!
