Zendaya Gets Her Very Own Barbie Doll (Pics Inside)

Zendaya was honored at the Rock N' Royals benefit concert earlier today (Sept. 26) in Hollywood with her very own barbie doll for encouraging young girls to raise their voices. 

The barbie resembles Zendaya's 2015 Academy Awards appearance where she rocked faux locs. Her appearance at the Oscars was talked about by many, including former Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic who infamously discussed it in a manner many found racially-charged. 

The 19-year-old actress/singer said she grew up thinking none of the barbies looked like her: 

"When I was little I couldn't find a Barbie that looked like me, my...how times have changed. Thank you @barbie for this honor and for allowing me to be apart of your diversification and expansion of the definition of beauty. Can't wait to keep doing amazing things with you #besuper"
