Bobby Brown Talks About Bobbi Kristina's Death on 'The Real,' Says His Daughter Might Still Be Alive If He Were Able to See Her Sooner
Bobby Brown seems to be in good spirits while doing his first interview since the passing of his daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Bobby and his wife Alicia Etheredge joined the ladies of The Real for their season 2 premiere which aired this morning.
Bobby believes things would have turned out differently for Bobbi Kristina if he had been with his daughter days before she was found unresponsive in her Atlanta home.
"If I could have been there two days before, it wouldn't have went down like that," said Bobby.
The 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina died in hospice care July 26 after being found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub Jan. 31.
Bobbi Kristina was the only child between Bobby and the late Whitney Houston. He thinks Whitney was ready for their daughter to be with her in heaven.
"We prayed and hoped for six months, you know, for something better to happen," Bobby said. "But, when God calls you, he calls you."
"I'm pretty sure her mother was like, 'Come on, let's get her up here,'" he said.
Bobby started a new foundation, The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House in memory of his daughter. He also talked about women in abusive relationships. Although Bobby didn't call out Nick Gordon, he hinted at the abuse he believes his daughter suffered which led to her death. Bobby also said he wants the district attorney's office to further investigate Bobbi Kristina's cause of death.
