Nicki Minaj is PISSED at MTV for Not Getting Nominated for 'Video of the Year,' Has Twitter Feud With Taylor Swift
Nicki Minaj has gone off on a rant as she tweeted her frustrations on Tuesday over not being nominated for 'Video of the Year' at the MTV Video Music Award.
Nicki, who has three nominations herself, accused MTV of snubbing her hit song “Anaconda” for ‘Video of the Year,’ alluding to how Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” landed a nomination in the category.
From yesterday until today, Nicki has tweeted out multiple tweets and retweeted others. Nicki's fans, the "Barbz" agreed and defended Nicki as she touched based on the racism embedded in the music industry, and how black women are rarely rewarded for their influence on pop culture.
Check out some of Nicki's tweets:
Ryan posted a headline of Taylor saying she loves & supports me. But not me saying the same to her. Lol. Their headline says I took a "jab"?

Taylor Swift felt some kind of way and fired back at Nicki via Twitter:
@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..

@NICKIMINAJ If I win, please come up with me!! You're invited to any stage I'm ever on.

Many celebs started chiming in, including Perez Hilton, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Jackee Harry, and even Kim Kardashian:
Yo I want in on this twitter Beef!! VMAs is the new WWF!! @edsheeran Fuck You!
— Bruno Mars (@BrunoMars) July 22, 2015
All my videos deserve VMas and my album deserves a Grammy but I'll never get one because America doesn't like opinionated black women.
