Bobby Kristina Update: Drugs Were Found in House, She is Surrounded by Family in Hospital, Bobby Brown Releases a Statement, Celebs Show Support
*Updates Below!
Bobbi Kristina's condition has reportedly improved a little.
As previously posted, the 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found unconscious in a bathtub over the weekend and was revived. She was then placed in a medically induced coma, has very little brain activity and is currently on life support. Reports have also said it will take a miracle for Bobbi to recover.

Her father released an official statement yesterday:
"Privacy is requested in this matter," Bobby said. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
A lawyer for the family added, "The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming."
"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time," the Houston family said in a statement Monday.
"Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."
Bobbi Kristina's husband Nick Gordon was spotted outside of the Roswell, GA hospital earlier as his wife is fighting for her life. There are rumored reports stating the Houston family has banned him from Bobbi's hospital room. The family hasn't been too fond of his and Bobbi's marriage or dating for a couple of years now. |
Sources connected with the family tell us ... doctors performed tests Monday morning and determined the swelling on her brain has gone down. In addition, she has been able to "move her eyes" ... all important signs.
Perhaps most important ... we're told the oxygen levels in her brain have increased significantly -- 4 times better than Sunday.
But the family has been told ... because Bobbi Kristina was deprived of oxygen for anywhere between 2 to 5 minutes while she was submerged in a tub, doctors fear neurological damage.
It's also being reported that the family was told to prepare for the worst. This is just so sad. We should all continue to keep Bobbi Kristina in our thoughts and prayers.
Many celebrities have tweeted their prayers for Bobbi Kristina:
"Sending Prayers for my lil sis @REALbkBrown for peace & healing...," Missy Elliott tweeted.
"Praying for Bobbi Kristina. Monsters let's all together send our love & healing energy to Whitney's daughter. World send her strength," Lady Gaga tweeted out to her followers.
"Let's All Send Love Light & Prayers To Bobbi Kristina Brown! Wishing Her A Healthy & Speedy Recovery!," LaToya Jackson tweets.
"Please keep Krissy & her family in your thoughts and prayers," Jordin Sparks tweets.
UPDATES:
Updates, Feb. 2:
Authorities have said that they did not find any signs that drugs or alcohol played a role; sources tell us that Bobbi had been doing really well recently, neither drinking nor using drugs.
A source told E! News, "Whatever anyone thinks, Krissi would never try to commit suicide. It wasn't something she would even consider, no matter how low she might be feeling."
A family source also told E! News, Nick and Bobbi were just having issues. They were still in the same house and they live together, and there was something that happened that caused a confrontation. They did get into an argument eight days ago. That's why Nick was sleeping in the other room. He was getting some space. When he woke, he went upstairs and found her.
Updates, Feb. 3:
Police found drugs in Bobbi Kristina's house, according to her family. TMZ confirmed that over the weekend, cops went back a second time to search the house. The first time they went they found nothing, but TMZ reports the cops went a second time and seized several items.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they believed from the beginning Bobbi Kristina ended up face down in a bathtub as a result of drugs.
So why didn't the cops find these items the first time when they searched the house?
TMZ reports, the cops were only looking for items that were "out in the open" and the second search was more thorough.
I will keep you posted as more updates come in.
