'Power' Releases Season 2 Photos & New Trailer, Plus 50 Cent Says FOX's New Show 'Empire' Copied 'Power'

Power returns this summer on Starz!

The network released new pictures from season 2 as well as a video of never-before-seen moments from Season 1 featuring the leading actors of the show: Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton.

Power was renewed for 10 more seasons last June. 50 Cent who has a recurring role on the series and who is also the producer of the show has a bit of a problem with FOX's new series Empire which premiered on Wednesday (Jan. 7).

50 said, “Their show is … the artwork was very similar they used ‘power’ in the tagline  … they didn’t have to do that."

50 Cent has been going back-and-forth lately with Empire stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrance Howard. 50 is accusing the actors and network of using some of the same marketing techniques as Power.

Well, when a fan reached out to Taraji on Twitter and asked how does she feel about 50's comments, Taraji tweeted back,"I pay attention to $'s NOT cents?"

In an interview with The Wrap on Wednesday, Taraji also said:

“50 Cent is a comedian. He loves to push buttons. He’s a funny guy. I never took offense to it."
