This year's American Music Awards nominees were announced yesterday, and leading the pack is newcomer Iggy Azalea with six nominations! Go girl! (*Full list of nominees below)

Iggy beats out artists Katy Perry, John Legend and Pharall who all have five nominations. She is also up for "Artist of the Year" which now has ten available slots instead of five, and she faces competition from heavy hitters like Beyonce, Eminem and One Direction.

Side note: That MAGIC! song "Rude" has been stuck in my head for months, lol. I am so rooting for them for the "Single of the Year" win. Also, I think Beyonce's "Drunk in Love" should have been listed in that category as well, just sayin'!
