Beyonce and Jay-Z Become the First Billion-Dollar Couple In Music History

Mrs. "Bow Down" herself and her man Jay-Z are officially the first billion-dollar couple in music history!

The couple achieved  the billion dollar status just this year. The International Business Times is reporting that the profits from Beyonce's Mrs. Carter tour (reportedly $116 million) as well as her recent H&M campaign have pushed the power couple over the nine-figure threshold. 

Beyonce has also done endorsement deals with L'Oreal and Tommy Hilfiger, racked up 17 Grammy Awards, and sold over 75 million records worldwide. And that’s not counting her film career. 

Jay-Z -  who recently made TIME's magazine cover for 100 most influential people in the world - has recently formed Roc Nation Sports, a sports management agency. Although he had to sell his stake in the Brooklyn Nets (he owned less than one percent of the team), the association between the two brands has been tremendous, according to reports.
