Fighting Words!: Kevin Garnett Allegedly Says to Carmelo Anthony, "LaLa Tastes Like Honey Nut Cheerios"

So last night, I peeped the fourth quarter of the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics game. Knicks player, Carmelo Anthony was guarding Kevin Garnett and then you see the two getting up in each others faces. It looked like Carmelo was checking Garnett as Garnett is known to talk a lot of smack.

At one point you could see Garnett tell 'Melo "f*ck you" and Melo calling Kevin a "p*ssy" (which is shown in the video below). And it didn't stop there.  

 Well, both players got technical fouls after their on-court confrontation and what happened afterwards and what Kevin supposedly said is the gossip for today.

Carmelo Waits For KG Post-game

After the game, Melo wasn't over with what was said on the court and he decide to wait for Kevin Garnett by the Celtics bus!

Now, word has it - this is circulating around on Twitter - that Kevin said to Melo, "Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios."
  
 USA Today says Melo spoke about the incident today, saying Garnett crossed a line but he would not elaborate on what was said:

Anthony said he sought out Garnett after the New York Knicks' loss to Boston on Monday night so they could discuss it. 

Anthony went toward the Celtics' locker room and waited for Garnett outside the team bus. He said they have spoken and sorted out the matter.

"There's certain things that you just don't say to men, another man," Anthony said.  

"I felt like we crossed a line, but like I said, we both had an understanding right now, we handled it the way we handled it. Nobody needs to know what was said behind closed doors, so that situation was handled."

"It's over with for me. Whatever happened last night, happened. The words that was being said between me and Garnett, it happened, can't take that away," Anthony said. 

"I lost my cool yesterday, I accept that, but there's just certain things that push certain people's buttons."

Now I'm not sure what was actually said, but it must have been something disrespectful for Melo to react AND this had a huge affect on his performance last night as he only shot 6 for 26 from the field. The Knicks took a 102-96 loss to the Celtics.
