The World's Oldest Person Turns 116, What is Her Secret to Longevity?

The world's oldest person, Besse Cooper from Georgia, recently made headlines for celebrating her 116th birthday on Sunday! 

According to the Guinness World Records, Cooper is one of only eight people and the fourth American to have reached 116-years-old.



She was born in 1896 and was certified as the world's oldest person by Guinness World Records in January 2011.

According to NBC News, Cooper has seven more years to go to become the oldest person ever recorded in Guinness. Jeanne Louis Calment from France lived to be 122 years and 164 days old before passing in 1997.

So what is Cooper's secret to achieving a long life?

"I mind my own business," she told Guinness World Records. "And I don't eat junk food."

That's right! A healthy diet and stress free is the way to be, this will add some more years to your life.
