Miley Cyrus' New Tattoo Quotes President Theodore Roosevelt (Photo)

Miley Cyrus Gets Tattoo Of President Theodore Roosevelt Quote

This must be celebrity tattoo day because I just posted about Chris Brown's ugly dragon tattoo, and although Miley's isn't half as bad as Chris', I just don't get the whole 'I'ma tatt a paragraph of a famous passage' on my arm look. Like, does someone really like the quote this much? Better write it on post-its and stick em' everywhere.

Anyway, the 19-year-old newly engaged Miley added the new tattoo to her left forearm that reads off a quote from President Theodore Roosevelt that he made in a speech in 1910!

The tatt reads: "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat."

Miley is quoted saying about her new ink, "It really doesn't hurt if you're thinking about the meaning. I could never get a meaningless tattoo, but I think if you're doing something that's important, that's significant in your life, it takes some of the pain away."

Miley is sending a message to all her critics. According to E! Online, her new tattoo - a snippet from Roosevelt's quote - reminds us it's "not the critic who counts."

I hope she feels better with the permanent inspiring words.
