Jaleel White Recalls Playing Steve Urkel on 'Family Matters'

Jaleel White recalled his days as Stefan Urquelle - Steve Urkel's smooth talking and cool alter ego on the 90's sitcom Family Matters.

Jaleel revealed he was very apprehensive playing the cool character but the executive producers saw a man that he hadn't become yet. 

He said this character introduced a new side of himself and people started treating him differently. While playing Stefan, Jaleel said he showed people there was more of him to offer.

Jaleel and his partner Kym Johnson danced the rumba on last nights Dancing with the Stars and scored a 25 out of 30 with the judges.

How ironic - this is the same song that played on one of the Family Matters episodes when Stefan danced with Laura at her house! Aww, I miss the 90's shows.
