The Jacksons are planning a comeback!
They recently announced the dates of their upcoming summer tour, the "Unity Tour 2012." According to Billboard.com, the Unity Tour will feature classic Jackson hits like "I Want You Back" and "ABC," as well as honoring the legacy of their late brother Michael Jackson, who passed in 2009.
Following the tour, the brothers plan on working on their first studio album in over twenty years. The oldest brother, Jackie, told Billboard:
"That's what we gotta do -- right after the tour, we're gonna go back into the studio and start recording some new music. I can't wait," says Jackson, adding that he has stayed active in the studio over the past two decades, preparing songs for his daughter. The singer says that, sonically, a new Jacksons project would include "a little bit of today, and also a return to our sound. We're gonna keep it simple… We can't shy away from our sound."
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased HERE at ticketmaster.com This will be the Jacksons first tour since 1984.
