New Album Releases: Melanie Fiona and Diggy Simmons Stop By '106 & Park'

Diggy Simmons and Melanie Fiona both hit up 106 & Park yesterday to promote their new albums which both drop today (March 20th). 


Diggy premiered his new video "88" which features Jadakiss (watch below) off of his debut album Unexpected Arrival.


"Having him on the track was a crazy moment," he said.


Diggy spoke of his new album and said he kept the features very minimal so the fans hear more of him. He did feature Jadakiss, Jeremiah and Tank on the album.


Host Rocsi asked Diggy if he felt any pressure from the hip hop community or his family who is heavily involved in hip hop with coming out with his new album.




"Nah, no pressure because I always focus on myself I feel like with anything it is you know you go with in doing with life, it's really about the approach you take with it. So if you focus on certain types of things then thats the energy that's going to come to you...," Diggy said.


He also surprised one lucky fan in the 106 & Park audience and brought them along with him to his concert which was last night at the Highland Ballroom.

Later on today Diggy will take over 106 & Park and perform, celebrating the release of his new album. Check out his new video below:

Melanie Fiona's new album The MF Life dropped today as well. She came through 106 & Park yesterday and performed songs "4 AM" and "This Time" her newest single which features J.Cole (listen below). 


And just like Diggy, Melanie also performed in New York City yesterday for an album release showcase where she performed all new songs off of the album. 


She will also be back on 106 & Park later on today to celebrate the release of The MF Life.
