Peyton Manning as a Referee in Funny Commercial (Video)

In this hilarious Papa John's commercial, Colts quarterback, Peyton Manning plays a referee. Retired Steelers player, Jerome Bettis says, "Peyton is that you?" and Peyton answers, "Hey, a mans gotta work, okay."

This commercial is hilarious for two reasons: Peyton is out due to a neck injury, with rumors of retirement swirling around and he's shown here trying to make ends meet in his new job as a referee. Also, the commercial plays on Bettis' 1998 Thanksgiving overtime coin toss controversy.

It doesn't even seem like Peyton is trying to be funny in this commercial, but he is! Could you imagine Peyton as a referee after retiring from playing football?
