America's Got Talent: And the Winner Is...

And the judges said this season on America's Got Talent will be the season of the dancers. But once again the singers prevail and Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. is the winner getting 1 million dollars and a headlining act in Vegas.

So lets recap the finale:

"I think America had a very hard time, I thought last night was the best of talent of any final we ever had..." Piers said.
The AGT All Stars performed, bringing out some of the shows memorable contestants. It was the worst version of "Time of my Life" that I ever heard. This performance was too funny and I started cracking up so much. Piers should've buzzed them again, lol.



The final four contestants each had a chance to perform with one of their heroes. Landau always wanted to sing with the legendary Patti Labelle and they sung Marvin Gaye's "You're All I Need to Get By" together.

Team iLuminate danced along with Cobra Starship who sung "You Make Me Feel." The Silhouttes performed with country star singer LeAnn Rimes. (Rimes has lately been splashed in the media for her thin figure.)

Poplyfe said never in a million years did they think they would perform with their idol. They performed with the legendary Stevie Wonder to his song "Higher Ground."

Afterwards, the results came and the order is below:

Poplyfe - 4th place
Team iLuminate - 3rd place
Silhouettes - 2nd place
Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. - winner!

It didn't surprise me when Poplyfe was announced first to go home, they didn't end strong but they came very far and had many great performances. I was surprised when Team iLuminate was eliminated second, leaving Landau and The Silhouettes in the top two.

I really thought Team iLuminate would win the whole thing and become the first dance act to win AGT. I guess Howie was right, popularity wins all. Landau has amazing vocal skills, I just wanted to see an act other than a singer take the winners title this season, it would be something different on the show.

On October 28th at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. will perform along with the other three finalists. Jerry Springer, who dropped by on the finale, will host the event. Michael Grimm, last years AGT winner, will also be in attendance and also the best of the top 10. To get tickets visit: nbc.com/agt
