President Barack Obama celebrated his 50th birthday last Thursday on August 4th and partied it up that night with Jay-Z, Chris Rock, Tom Hanks, Stevie Wonder and other celebs according to numerous reports.
Chris Rock even tweeted, "Just left the Presidents birthday party at the White House. Herbie Hancock played, Stevie Wonder sang and yes they did the electric slide. A great night."
According to reports, the party included a casual picnic dinner and dancing afterwards as the president challenged everyone to dance.
And the party and its menu won't end up on the White House tab, the Obamas paid for it with their personal funds.
Also, Fox News referred to President Obama’s birthday bash as a "Hip-Hop BBQ." The controversial headline immediately sparked up comments about the network's "racial comments" and Fox is standing by it.
The article was entitled 'Obama's Hip-Hop BBQ Didn't Create Jobs' and this isn’t the first time the controversial news network has been accused of racial comments.
I previously posted a blog about FOX's comments about rapper/actor Common when he visited the White House. FOX News criticized Common for being invited to the White House and said that Common "unleashed lyrical attacks" on former President George W. Bush.
A host on the Fox Business network was also criticized back in May for suggesting President Obama was "chugging 40's" during his trip to Europe. He is facing allegations of racism after referring to the White House as the "Hizzouse," "Hizzy" and "The Big Crib," and guests of the administration as "hoods."
Wow! What is the deal with FOX News? Should these opinions be tolerated?
