The latest scam on facebook and celebrity death hoax happened today about Lil' Wayne dying. Rumors on Facebook said there was a fatal car crash in which two rappers died and to click to watch the video of the crash. Well some are saying this video or link is a virus, so don't trust it.
This isn't the first time Lil' Wayne has been apart of a death hoax. In 2008 there were rumors circulating that the rapper died from being shot when a fake news page appeared from BBC.
With these social networks it is so easy for rumors to circulate and for people to believe them. Lil' Wayne also tweeted about his tour shortly after the virus started spreading around so don't believe the hype.
A new lawsuit was filed recently against Lil' Wayne and his associates saying elements of the Young Money Cash Money single were stolen from a Done Deal song of the same name.
The suit asks for $15 million in damages. Lil' Wayne and his lawyer have been ordered to appear in court regarding the matter on Oct. 12, according to BET News.
Also according to BET News, this isn't the only lawsuit against the rapper. He recently was sued by several Tha Carter III producers for unpaid royalties.
Lil' Wayne's next album Tha Carter IV is set to hit stores August 29th.
