Former Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress who served almost two years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon is returning to the NFL and with a new team, the New York Jets.
Big news this morning as Burress signed a one year contract with the Jets after being M.I.A for two years in the football world.
Yahoo reports, Burress signed a one-year, $3.017 million deal.
In November of 2008, Burress accidentally shot himself in the thigh. He was in a New York nightclub when the weapon he was holding accidently shot off inside his pants.
