BET Awards 2011 Nominees Announced & Some People Aren't Happy With the Choices

So last night the nominees for the 2011 BET Awards were announced on 106 & Park and special guest joined the party.

Miguel, Waka Flocka and Marsha Ambrosius were among the special guest as well as the host for this years awards show.

Taking place on June 26, the host for this years BET awards show will be Comedian/Actor Kevin Hart!!!

You know this years awards is going to be extra funny with Kevin Hart around. He will now be amongst some past notable favorites; Steve Harvey & Cedric the Entertainer, Monique, Jaime Foxx and Queen Latifah who hosted last year.

Now lets get into the nominees:

Chris Brown, who spoke to Terrence and Rocsi on 106 & Park yesterday via telephone, leads the pack with six nominations!

Right behind him is Lil' Wayne, Weezy.

Of course Lil' Wayne's partner Nicki Minaj headlines the 'Best Female Hip Hop Artist' category and I'm sure she'll win.

Young Money is in full effect this year with Drake being nominated as well for 'Best Male Hip Hop Artist' category.

Some people weren't as excited about the nominees, like rapper Trina. I've watched the BET awards every year since they first started and she's been nominated in almost every 'Best Female Hip Hop Artist' category, but not this year. And this is what she had to say via Twitter:

f*ck BET......
Rapper Diamond was nominated in the 'Best Female Hip Hop Artist' category and when she received the news she tweeted that she's been through hell and back and that God is good. She also gave props and recognized Trina not being nominated:

Keyshia Cole's Twitter has been popping lately since the BET Awards nominations were revealed yesterday.

After speaking about rapper Lil' Kim she said her thoughts on NOT being included in the nominations but she expressed her feelings nicer than Trina:

Keyshia Cole
"N while we're addressing everything, Lil Kim and I a r not "friends" I take that term very seriously. We made wonderful music. That is it."

Keyshia, who will be touring with R. Kelly for the next few months tweeted this yesterday:
